Cherokee County Roads and Bridges Supervisor:
 
Cherokee County is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position
of Roads and Bridges Supervisor.
  
 Qualifications: 
·         Must have or be able to obtain Class A license with no restrictions
·         Must have experience in roadway construction and maintenance
·         Must have a basic working knowledge of equipment operation
·         Must be able to work with the public and communicate in a professional manner
·         Supervisory experience preferred

Part-Time Clerk I - Voter Registration and Election Board of Cherokee County  

Clerical and administrative support work for the Voter Registration
and Election Board of Cherokee County in a fast paced office environment
where accuracy and attention to detail is crucial. Assists in registering
voters, maintaining election records, assists in Absentee Precinct, and
preparation of all elections. Must have excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Works during election cycle in election years.
  
Qualifications: 
  • Three years’ experience in clerical work
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Prefer working knowledge of election/voter registration vocabulary and election procedures
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Must work well with the public
  • Some week-end work
  • Hours varied depending on election cycle
  • Drug Test

Part-Time Clerk II - Voter Registration and Election Board of Cherokee County

Qualifications:

  • Prefer working knowledge of election/voter registration vocabulary and election procedures
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Must work well with the public
  • Some week-end work
  • Hours varied depending on election cycle
  • Drug Test
  • Obtain certification from the SC Election Commission within 18 months of hire
  • Notary or ability to obtain one

Treasurers Office Clerk 

Responsible for but not limited to, receiving tax payments, issue refund checks, balance
and maintain petty cash, and assist taxpayers with routine questions. Required to perform
calculations quickly and accurately in a fast paced office environment. Must have excellent
written and verbal skills.

     Prefer associates degree.
    Two year general clerk experience.
     Excellent computer and math skills.
    Must be able to multitask.
     Must be able to successfully pass drug scren and background check.
